Lunch with 100 strangers

I recently had the opportunity to be a guest of ABC radio host, Lisa Leong, on the ‘This Working Life’ podcast along with Sinead Hourigan, QLD Managing Director of Robert Walters, to discuss the benefits of networking and how it has changed over the years.

We also had the great pleasure to listen to Lisa’s recent interview with the delightful Kaley Chu, who set herself a goal of having ‘100 lunches with 100 strangers’ over a 12 month period in order to develop her business and networking skills.

As our Relaunch Me clients would know, we encourage our clients to get out of their comfort zone to initiate career conversations and informational interviews in order to obtain the information that you require to make informed career decisions.  We understand that this is not easy, particularly for the introverts among us, but I hope the following interview will provide you with some inspiration and demonstrate to you how confidence can be built step by step and can lead to amazing things.

Kaley is now an author, speaker who travels around the country and she has also recently done a TedX talk!
